I know I have one or two more online, saved in emails, etc. Might have a couple still in handwritten form. I know one of them is lyrical, titled Elizabeth Hurley... Based on the concept of the film BEDAZZLED. π
We lefties are the only people in are right minds, blah blah blah (though, some might question my sanity, but...) and whatever else they might say about us. π
I admit, I'm semi-ambidextrous. I surf "right-handed" ... I bat right-handed, a few other things, but mostly left-handed.
And I have to say .... this isn't the first poem (and doubtfully the last) where I cast the Devil as a woman. π
I have some older ones like this β¦ not sure where they are β¦ I think those older ones are based on concepts from the Led Zeppelin song Dazed and Confused, and the movie Bedazzled with Elizabeth Hurley, where she plays the devil.
Great imagery!
Thanks, Trudi! πππΌ
Not my normal poetry effort. I dust off one of these every now and then just for fun. I like these for a type of fictional storytelling. π
Itβs a great idea! I really enjoyed reading it.

Oh yes I remember her
Great poetry John! I love the clever twist at the endββitβs why you donβt play games with the devilβ π A caution of temptation. Nice!
I was curious if you would get a chance to see this one! I thought the card playing and magical aspect of the story might catch your eye. π
The Once Very Naughty Nurse approves of the occasional deviation π
She also never dates left handed men anymore π

Well both of my husbands were left handed and thatβs all Iβm going to say about that π
Rob is a righty and if he sees this heβll laugh.
By the way Iβm also highly ambidextrous, I used to like to punch walls, but I find this to be a very useful skill when starting IV lines.
Hey, fellow wall puncher! **high five**
LOL β¦.
I remember you had mentioned your disdain for lefties before. Kind of stuck in my left-handed brain. π
Itβs more of a fascination Iβm sure I donβt have to list the names of the many great left-handed minds, umm hello Ben Franklin π‘
Just a personal pattern of mine I picked up and lessons learned the hard way. π€£
This list of left-handed people is insane. I'm in good company!
A couple notable omissions here : Einstein, Newton, and a handful of others.
